In addition to essentially inventing the computer, Alan Turing also broke the German Enigma Code during World War II which paved the way for the D-Day invasion. The man was a hyper-genius. I’ve read descriptions of his work by mathematical physicist Sir Roger Penrose. He’s been a hero of mine ever since.
The level of thought required to come up with the stuff he came up with is totally beyond my comprehension. I actually did not even know about his orientation until much later. He was prosecuted and ordered to undergo chemical castration. Soon thereafter, he committed suicide by eating a cyanide-laced apple.

The government forced him to take estrogen as a punishment (or “cure”?). He began to develop breasts and other side effects.
He committed suicide by biting into a cyanide laced apple. This is supposedly the inspiration for the name/logo of Apple computers.

I don’t understand why Death gets lumped in with Supernatural villains. He’s the essence of neutrality. He doesn’t side with heaven or hell. His purpose is to get souls where they belong so they don’t become vengeful spirits.
The only time he actively killed people was during the apocalypse and that’s because Lucifer had him bound. The other horsemen enjoyed wreaking havoc but Death had to be forced to do it. Isn’t that a clear indication that he’s not evil

Plus, he likes junkfood.
How could somebody liking junkfood be a villain.

Death loving junk food  is my favorite character trait because what do people always say to people who eat nothing but junk food? That stuff will kill you

People call Death a villain? He GAVE Dean his ring. Without it they wouldn’t have been able to stop the apocalypse. He went and got Sam’s soul just to be nice, he didn’t have to, Dean broke his deal (both ways-he fucked up being Death, and never bothered to check out the shit with the souls). Plus he kept the door open for the Leviathans to get dumped back into Purgatory, even though he didn’t get anything out of it but hassle. Death is a great big old softy.

I think a factor in him helping with Godstiel is that it must have annoyed him that the Purgatory souls weren’t where they should be. Cas destroyed some of the work Death had been doing since the dawn of time, that had to piss him off. But he does have a fondness for the Winchesters and that’s part of the reason he helped. Anyone else and I’m sure Death would have walked away and let them deal with the mess they made

Sterek Week: Friday» Sterek AU

Sterek AU: The orders Agent Derek Hale gets are clear: infiltrate “the Pack” gang, get close to its leader - Stiles Stilinski - gather enough evidence to put him into prison for the rest of his life and then bring the evidence and Stiles to his uncle:  that is Chief Peter Hale. Simple as that. But when Derek gets undercover, meets Stiles and sees things from another perspective it turns the case is not as simple as it seemed to be…
